I know we’re on break, but I couldn’t hold it in! I thought it might be neat to research holidays and celebrations during the Elizabethan era. I bet, for the upper class it was SO elaborate! I would suppose the lower class would be something like a the lower class featured in one of my all time FAVORITE holiday movies!
A MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL!!
Even though this movie is set during the Victorian Era, I connected the two through research where I found strong similarities (since the Victorian Era idealized the Elizabethan Era). I felt like this was a good example of a typical lower class “holiday” meal.
